Austin Clubhouse: Transforming Lives and Creating Community

A supportive community and place to belong can be hugely beneficial for people living with mental illness as they journey toward recovery. The international Clubhouse model to address these needs started more than 70 years ago in New York. Austin Clubhouse is one of the 300 Clubhouses worldwide. It is dedicated to the recovery of adults experiencing mental illness by providing opportunities for members to live, work, and learn, while contributing their talents through a community of mutual support.
